Qualco

Qualco provides software and IT solutions to big corporations, primarily in the banking, shipping and construction industries. Its flagship product is Qualco Collections, the leading debt collection and recovery software in Greece and all Eastern Europe and rapidly expanding to Western Europe. The company also offers advanced IT services (such as computer room relocation, business continuity, disaster recovery), bespoke software development and business intelligence services as well as a second product, a project management solution designed for the construction industry.

The challenges in this project were:

• To clearly communicate the two products on sale and the three areas where services are offered since those were previously presented in a way that made them appear as similar offerings.
• To make copywriting short, precise and engaging, as the previous website created a confusing image.

The website was developed on Atcom’s proprietary content management system Netvolution. Netvolution implementation was mostly done by Atcom. It’s interesting to check out the transparency & z-ordering “tricks” used to inject a regular rectangular image into the top-right corner of the page using only css.
